Vegetarian and Vegan Food Festival: Fourth annual Veggiefest Chicagoland 2009 is happening on  August 8 and 9! 

Last year Over 10,000 people attended the festival which featured Vegetarianism and Raw, Organic, Vegetarian and Vegan Diet Foods

Veggie Fest Chicagoland 2008 was

a HUGE success 

• Cooking demonstrations featuring juicing, French and Indian cuisine, soul food and much more
• All types of vegetarian food from world class food vendors
• Live music throughout the day.
• Featured guests, Richard Dworsky, world renowned keyboardist and musical director of A Prairie Home Companion performed
• Kids enjoyed having their faces painted, playing in the moon jump, laughing with the clowns and participating in an interactive magic show with a world class magician
• Workships featuring the latest research about the vegetarian diet and heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure, and stress-related illnesses presented by physicians, nurses and other health care professionals talked about how changing your diet can change your life
